Breathe Easy

For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.

I've been MIA, I know. Sorry guys...

Life has been really busy and I decided to take time to regroup and sort some things out. Which, we should all do when necessary. I started this post off with that quote because as I am approaching 30 (two years away), I have found that I tend to rush things or feel this immense amount of pressure to get certain things done. It was certainly feeling overwhelming and I had to seriously just pause and look around and just appreciate all that I have been blessed with thus far. I am so much closer to my goals than I was a year ago, even five months ago. Wherever you are in your journey, take time to breathe, spend time with your family, take a walk, enjoy nature, read a book, put your phone away (working on this), PRAY, meditate! Take time for yourself, I am not encouraging you to slack off and not go for yours. No, you go for yours and work hard. Just don't forget to breathe, take the time to quiet your mind. <3

Ciao, For now <3

Thank you Oscar Fuertes (IG: StreetChronicle) for the photos.

Comfort Zone

Hey Lovas,

As time passes, you will notice that I don't have a specific style that I stick to ALL of the time. However, I tend to migrate towards more grudge-chic pieces. If that even makes any sense. I'm sure you get what I mean. ;)

For this look, I decided to double up on the prints and pair them with a gladiator sandal and some fun accessories.  I included my Dior- Cat eye frames for a glam- vintage touch and this gorgeous Clare Vivier foldover clutch.  I won this clutch- filled to the brim with Maybelline products, when I entered the My Lip Magic contest held by Maybelline & Refinery 29 on Instagram- So Cool! It has helped me add the perfect pop of color to my often neutral toned outfits. Though, this is an extremely bold look, i'm legit so comfortable in this outfit. I guess this is my "comfort zone" -hence, the title of this post.
