Reverie x Brooklyn Bridge

There are moments in your life that will come, when you know that you are connecting with people for a reason. I don't think that I realized this when Andrew Morales (aka Reverie), founder of Life in Reverie and "styletographer" reached out to me initially. However, within a week we were able to pull a shoot together and it was a pretty incredible experience. We decided to shoot in the DUMBO area of Brooklyn (Woop!) My two girlfriends, Karina and Tiffanie, who are also style enthusiasts, joined us and got there photos taken as well. We also had videographer, John Tashiro, capture the experience. The video is still being edited but I cannot wait to show you the finished product. The entire shoot was seamless and we all got along really well. This was such a cool project because I had the opportunity to work with extremely professional young individuals who are thriving in their passions. This is one of the main reasons I started this blog and I really feel like I am on the right track. It's all about connecting!

Below is look 1 of 3 that we shot over the weekend. A little different for me but I really enjoyed the feel of this look. I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments below. Would you rock it?!

Streetstyle Loves Street Art

Sup Guys,

Off the bat, I want to talk about the walls on the West Side- AMAZE. New York City has tons of cool spaces and scenes to take in. Karina (my fellow blogger and friend) and I are always on the hunt to find some sweet art to compliment our outfits. We stumbled upon this on our lunch break and found it to be just perfect. There were multiple murals and I decided this was the perfect one for me. There's this simple yet complex element to it, as well as this creepy feeling which is what drew me to it instantly. I find this mural to be INSANE-  these faces were my audience the entire time we were shooting.

Unfortunately, I failed to get a good shot of the entire mural, however you can check it out on the brilliant artists' site, along with all of his other amazing work. His name is Jordan Betten and he is a NYC based artist who founded the luxury leather brand Lost Art. I encourage you to check out his site and learn more about him. Pretty in love with his work. Thank you for making NYC more appealing Mr. Betten.

Xo,
