“Shades of Cool"

Are pastels still in? YEP, well at least in my book. I opted for this dusty blue color which is shocking to me but I'm pretty in love with it. You can usually find me (year round) rocking a black leather, but I felt this jacket added such a sense of cool to this outfit. There are small specks (barely noticeable) of blue on my shoes and the color played really well with the pattern. And the exposed zippers? SUCH a great way to add some extra edge to any piece.

Pastels are great for transitioning from Summer to Fall. What are your thoughts? Would you rock it? Let me know in the comments! Also, I've made it easier for you to subscribe to my site by adding an email form to the right. Don't forget to subscribe!

A special thank you to Andrew Morales, founder of Life In Reverie, this outfit concludes the shoot we put together a couple of weeks ago. So great shooting with you, these photos are great!

Streetstyle Loves Street Art

Sup Guys,

Off the bat, I want to talk about the walls on the West Side- AMAZE. New York City has tons of cool spaces and scenes to take in. Karina (my fellow blogger and friend) and I are always on the hunt to find some sweet art to compliment our outfits. We stumbled upon this on our lunch break and found it to be just perfect. There were multiple murals and I decided this was the perfect one for me. There's this simple yet complex element to it, as well as this creepy feeling which is what drew me to it instantly. I find this mural to be INSANE-  these faces were my audience the entire time we were shooting.

Unfortunately, I failed to get a good shot of the entire mural, however you can check it out on the brilliant artists' site, along with all of his other amazing work. His name is Jordan Betten and he is a NYC based artist who founded the luxury leather brand Lost Art. I encourage you to check out his site and learn more about him. Pretty in love with his work. Thank you for making NYC more appealing Mr. Betten.
